| A designer addresses
daily the relationship between materials and form, and
the relationship between brands and the buying public.
But it should never be forgotten that the main aim is
to improve the dialogue between people and objects, between
people and the spaces they inhabit. The challenge faced
by the industrial designer is to succeed in placing innovation
in a contemporary context, in order to create stimulating
objects today which will be useful tomorrow. My aim is
to find an honest expression for a product through attention
to form, proportion and detail. I am always aware that
an integral part of usefulness is the pleasure derived
from using an object.
